Championing Against Drug and Substance Abuse and Crime

New dawns present more walking ‘zombies’ against a backdrop of scorching sun. Young to old, men to women fight the rays that will worsen the effects of alcohol (Changaa, busaa and artisanal spirits,miraa, kuber and glue ). More vulnerability is witnessed as Mathare becomes a transit and consumption hub of cocaine, heroine and cannabis. Almost every family has grieved or will grieve a loved one to susceptibility of drug addiction and substance abuse. The dangerous endevour will also lead to growing population, sparks in sexually transimmted diseases, high crime rate, broken families, school droppin out…Of concern to this Program are serious development erosions which undermine collective and individual efforts. As part of the solution we seek to highlight the drug problem, destigmatize, prevention and rehabilitation, and human resource development..
